Welcome to my website! My name is Dr. Jenae Thompson and I am an Associate Professor at Walden University. I teach in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program. I love preparing future counselors! In addition to teaching, I am also a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in the state of Illinois, a practicing astrologer, and an initiate and practitioner of various African Traditional Religions. I conduct research on these modalities and approaches and support therapists (and student trainees) with ethical usage and integration to meet the needs of their clients.
